Description: AMANDA RORABACK, Historian/Writer will be reading from her book "Israel in a Nutshell/ Palestine in a Nutshell." Ms. Roraback holds a BA and an MA in History, and has seen her books "Afghanistan in a Nutshell," and "Iraq in a Nutshell" appear on the LA Times Bestseller's list. She is a high demand speaker specializing in world events, international relations, and differing cultures and ideologies.Audiences enjoy the exchange of ideas and discussion that Ms. Roraback's readings encourage.

Writing Out Loud is a monthly writers' salon held at the world famous Jazz Bakery in Culver City, CA.

This public event brings talented writers together from all walks of life to read their work aloud. Whether you would like to meet great writers, hone your own writing craft, or are just looking to open your mind and hear something new, Writing Out Loud is an enriching, enlivening good time.

The salon begins with a delicious light lunch at 1:00pm. Then from 2-3:30pm participants have the opportunity to listen to distinguished authors read their work aloud and discuss writing topics with the group.
