Tiger Woods will host the 2nd annual Block Party at The Grove of Anaheim to benefit the Tiger Woods Learning Center (TWLC), a 14-acre youth-education facility located in Anaheim, Calif. Last year's inaugural event raised nearly $1 million for the TWLC.
Block Party guests will enjoy activities on and off the golf course including: a morning golf exhibition featuring Fred Couples and Tiger Woods followed by a round of golf at beautiful Mesa Verde Country Club in Costa Mesa.
The Grove of Anaheim will serve as host for the VIP reception, featuring cocktails, silent and live auctions, a gourmet dinner prepared by world-renowned chef Bobby Flay and an intimate musical performance by music icons Glenn Frey and Joe Walsh of the Eagles. Emmy-nominated Kevin James, star of the hit sitcom "The King of Queens," will host the entertainment portion of the evening.
The OC Block Party, led by honorary co-chairs Pam and Tom Bender and Benefit Committee co-chairs Sally and Randy Crockett and Lori and Brian Hirth, is organized to thank the Orange County community for its commitment to supporting the TWLC and its students.
