| Description: | LA’s first-ever mass picnic, PopUp Dinner L.A., puts a modern twist on the elegant dining experience; an underground dinner meets flash mob meets outdoor picnic inspired by similar glamorous affairs which are cropping up all over the globe. Following successful PopUp Dinners in San Francisco and San Diego where thousands gathered to wine and dine under the stars, Hand Made Events is bringing their unique brand of fun, enchantment, and spontaneity to a secret location in Los Angeles, which will be revealed to revelers just hours before the event (via email). Guests of PopUp Dinner L.A. are required to wear all-white and bring their own tableware, food and beverages that reflect a love for dining in style. We provide the tables, chairs, entertainment and even the food and beverages for those who would rather purchase pre-ordered dinner baskets curated by a burgeoning local chef. There is no “right way” to participate in PopUp Dinner L.A., there is only a time, a place, and a group of your friends and family with which to share the unparalleled communal experience of this magical event. A portion of proceeds will go to Slow Food Los Angeles, a chapter of Slow Food USA, contributing to their Young Farmers/School Gardens Fund and encouraging healthy food, childhood education and dining together as a community long after the party ends. |
